On our second day of editing we already had a substantial amount of footage so the editing was a very easy process. The second day of editing was mainly importing clips that we had to refilm.
We hit a few problems on our second day of editing. Firstly we found out that our opening scene was too long, so it needed to be cut. We ended making our opening scene from 2:54 to 2:20 but this still proved too long.
To cut it down to 2:20 we shortened clips and cut out scenes that we didn’t think was needed.
The second day of editing also consisted of adding titles to our film. The titles included the name of our production company and the name of the film. We placed the name of our production company at the beginning of the film and had the name of the film at the end of the opening scene choosing appropriate fonts and colours. We also added extra titles for who was acting in the opening scene who directed it and who wrote so we gave credit to who in our group did what.
After the second day of filming we still thought that there were things that needed to be changed and refilmed through peer assessment. We had all the aspects for our film that we wanted but some still needed to be refilmed as new ideas arrived in the group.
